I'm working on the introductions to each section, such as Attracting
Users and Growing Contributions. (Sections are chapters grouped by theme.)
I didn't queue up a pull request for the _format_ of the chapters, but I
am very interested in your input (whoever you are). You can view one
here, with draft narrative content:
https://github.com/theopensourceway/guidebook/blob/master/growing_contrib...
Here is a blank template:
https://github.com/theopensourceway/guidebook/blob/master/growing_contrib...
What do you think about that?
(I've pasted the contents of that below for easy commenting in this thread.)
As for the content in the "Getting Started" section introduction (which
includes a suggested rename from Introduction section to Getting
Started), here is a pull request:
https://github.com/theopensourceway/guidebook/pull/180
The key things to review:
* One opening paragraph before the bullets, is this enough?
* Do the bullets make sense, based on what you know of the content (or not)?
After this I'll do a few more pull requests with the content from the
other section intros.
As for the template/format, if we make changes, we can roll those out to
each of the files.
Kind regards,
- Karsten
