Hi Diane,
Sorry for the delay getting back to you, I got lost in the long weekend
and am catching up.
Welcome! Copy editing and overall development are great ways to
contribute while learning, so good practice of the open source way. :)
We are just now coming to have content ready for review, and we also
have some writing in progress that might welcome some copyediting input.
For the former, Brian Proffitt (Lead Editor) is back next week and will
start organizing the editing team. For the latter, Shaun McCance (Lead
Writer) is available to discuss with you and other writers how to use
GitHub to review content in progress.
We have a regular Thursday call with the rest of the open community at
18:30 UTC (14:30 EDT), which I can invite you to at:
https://meet.google.com/yzs-hpgb-iwf
We spend the first half of that meeting going over the project
boards[1], and the second half hour is an open office hours.
Those office hours are a great chance for giving tours of how we use
GitHub and other Q&A.
Best regards,
- Karsten

Hi! I watched your Community Central presentation and am excited
about
this project. Thank you for offering the opportunity to participate!
I was a lead copy editor and owner of the style guide at Dummies Press
(publishers of /DOS For Dummies, Sex For Dummies,/ etc.) for 4 years, as
well as a senior technical communications specialist at multiple
software development companies for close to 10 years. I'm new to Red Hat
and open source but able and willing to help with copy editing and/or
the development of a style guide.
Thanks!
Diane
